Top WWE Star Reacts To The Bloodline’s New Look
The Bloodline continues to wreak havoc on WWE SmackDown, which led to LA Knight giving his thoughts on the group.
LA Knight knows what it’s like to fight against The Bloodline because he got multiple shots at Roman Reigns when he was the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, we are living in different times now with Roman Reigns out of the picture while Solo Sikoa leads the group.
Over the last few months since WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa has led a new version of The Bloodline consisting of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Jacob Fatu. Solo’s version of the group has also taken out Solo’s brother Jimmy Uso and also the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman.
On WWE Smackdown in Worcester, Massachusetts, The Bloodline destroyed Randy Orton while the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was tied in the ropes and made to watch. The Bloodline gave Orton a devastating Powerbomb through the commentary table to end the attack.
During an appearance on the Battleground Podcast with Tim Battle and Eli, Smackdown’s LA Knight was asked about the biggest difference between this version of The Bloodline and the group when it was led by Roman Reigns for nearly four years.
“You better ask them. I don’t know. As far as I can tell, it’s a completely different crew. The O.G. crew is out the door, all broken up. Haven’t seen Jimmy in forever, haven’t seen Roman since WrestleMania, Jey’s doing his own thing. The only kind of O.G. member is Solo, and even he was kind of new school in the grand scheme of things.”
“So you’re looking at a completely different crew, less from the Samoan side, more from the Tongan side. Man, I don’t know, but now you have the introduction of Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga, there’s a whole different look and feel to The Bloodline. Now you’re talking about big old Paul Heyman getting thrown through a table. Nobody saw that coming.”
“You knew the top was gonna blow off in some regard. Now it’s just a matter of where it’s gonna go. Nobody knows.”
Solo Sikoa Of The Bloodline Facing Cody Rhodes At SummerSlam
It was confirmed this week that Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam in Cleveland on August 3rd. It has been rumored that Roman Reigns could make his triumphant return at SummerSlam although that is not confirmed.
As for LA Knight, he’s hoping that Logan Paul agrees to put the United States Title on the line at SummerSlam in a match that could end with Knight becoming a singles champion in WWE for the first time in his career. Knight could get his answer on the July 19th edition of Smackdown since Logan Paul is set to appear on the show.
