Top WWE Star Reveals The Company Got His Name Wrong During His Debut

WWE

On his Twitter, Drew McIntyre took some time to reflect on his 15 year career in the WWE, particularly his debut.

As far as his recent history in the company, it’s been a bit of downward spiral for the “Scottish Warrior.” Last month at Clash at the Castle, McIntyre would lose a match for the Undisputed Universal Championship against Roman Reigns, this after Solo Sikoa helped his “Tribal Chief” get the victory by interfering in the match. After Sikoa showed up, it allowed the “Tribal Chief” to land a third spear to get the win.

Then at Extreme Rules earlier this month, McIntyre would suffer defeat to Karrion Kross in a Strap Match, this also because of interference, with Scarlett Bordeaux getting involved to help her husband get the win.

On social media, McIntyre posted a video of his debut on WWE TV, which was 15 years ago on Smackdown in 2007. While sharing the moment with fans, the 37-year-old would also point out how the titantron had his name wrong, and joked around about being younger than Sheamus, somehow.

“15 years ago this fresh faced kid made his @WWE debut. I had only been in America for about 2 weeks, the titantron got my name wrong, and I didn’t know what a hard-cam was or how to find it. Craziest part is I’m still 37 years younger than @WWESheamus”
