Top WWE Star Reveals Admiration For Bret Hart

Bret Hart Reveals Who He Believes Took Over As Leader Of WWE

Bret Hart is returning to WWE Raw.

On September 9th, WWE will roll into the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for the “season premiere” of Monday Night Raw. While the show will feature its usual array of top WWE stars, it will also feature a special appearance from Bret Hart.

The Hitman hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being shown ringside at Clash at the Castle in 2022.

Hart’s influence on wrestling stretches far and wide, with his matches still beloved by fans and today’s performers.

While appearing on Sportsnet Radio, Liv Morgan said she grew up a fan of Hart, so she’s looking forward to seeing him on the show.

“Bret Hart is super iconic in wrestling, in pop culture, in life. I grew up a fan of Bret Hart, still a fan of Bret Hart, so I’m super excited to see him on Monday,”

In a different interview with Buzz Bishop, Morgan recalled repeatedly texting Natalya while reading Hart’s autobiography.

“I’ve met him a couple of times. I loved his career, I’ve read his book, big fan of his book. I remember the whole time I was reading his book I just kept texting Nattie like ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe this,’”

What Will Bret Hart Be Doing On Raw?

It’s been reported that Bret Hart could be doing more than just watching the action Raw, and potentially getting involved in a segment with Gunther. The pair have something of a history after Hart was incredibly critical of the World Champion’s match with Sheamus at Clash at the Castle in 2022.

Gunther is a wanted man as champion with another Canadian icon after a shot at his title. Sami Zayn has made clear he wants to challenge Gunther for the gold after defeating The Ring General at WrestleMania 40 for the Intercontinental Championship.
