Top WWE Star Opposes R-Truth’s Return

R-Truth at Money In The Bank 2025

R-Truth’s return to WWE at Money in the Bank 2025 was a moment that fans were NOT READY for at all! Seldom does the company throw such a spanner in their own decisions.

The WWE veteran entered to the ring during the concluding moments of John Cena & Logan Paul vs. Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes as a hooded figure and assaulted The Franchise Player.

This moment enabled The American Nightmare to hit the Undisputed WWE Champion with a Cross Rhodes and secure the victory. This also marked the first time John Cena was defeated via pinfall since becoming the champion at WrestleMania 41.

R-Truth has ruffled some feathers with his WWE return

The wrestling juggernaut was the target of severe criticism and backlash when news of R-Truth’s release surfaced last week. It worsened when details of Truth’s new contract was out in the open wherein he was offered less money than what he was making which of course, the veteran declined.

However, the fans chanted for R-Truth loud enough for WWE to make changes to its decisions, that too within 72 hours. Nevertheless, one person in the WWE Universe is not happy about it at all.

Logan Paul took to social media to express his frustration over losing the tag team match, and being brutally honest about Truth’s return to the company.

Cody and Jey are cheaters. They only won because R-Truth came back. That’s an objective fact. I said it last week. They can’t do anything in this business without having it handed to them. And Truth got unfired for whatever reason. He came back and cost me and John, the better team in the match. So, that’s what I have to say about that. And R-Truth, everyone else wants you back, I don’t.

Moving forward, the 53-year-old will go by Ron Killings. WWE has launched merchandise in that name. It is yet to be seen what the new character brings to the table.
