Top WWE Star Is No Fan Of Joe Hendry
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther does not believe in Joe Hendry.
The Scottish sensation continues to be the talk of the wrestling world having captured the imagination of fans and WWE management following his debut in an NXT title shot battle royal on the 18th June edition of NXT.
Hendry went on to defeat Wes Lee and Pete Dunne on the 20th August episode of NXT to earn his first shot at the NXT Championship. He is set to battle Ethan Page for the gold at NXT No Mercy on 1st September in a bout that will be refereed by Trick Williams.
One man, however, who has made it clear that he doesn’t buy into the hype surrounding Hendry is current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther.
The Austrian-born Superstar retained his title after defeating Randy Orton by referee stoppage in the main event of Bash In Berlin, the first ever Premium Live Event to emanate from Germany.
Following his victory, Gunther was interviewed by Gorilla Position and asked if he believed in Joe Hendry. The intimidating star immediately responded in the negative:
“Uh no, I don’t think so. No.”

Joe Hendry’s incredible rise to popularity has also caught the attention of fellow wrestlers, with one fellow star of TNA Wrestling reserving the very highest of praise for the Edinburgh-born star.
