Top WWE Star Was Removed From Legendary Triple H WrestleMania Entrance
A current major star in WWE was supposed to be part of Triple H’s WrestleMania entrance, but those plans changed.
Throughout his WWE Hall of Fame career, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was known for having some of the coolest entrances in the history of the business.
At WrestleMania 31, Triple H had a “Terminator” theme entrance to promote an Arnold Schwarzenegger “Terminator” film that was coming out that year. It was the year when Sting faced and defeated Sting in what was Sting’s WWE debut match.
In 2015, when WrestleMania 31 took place, Liv Morgan was in her rookie year in WWE as part of the NXT brand, which Triple H was running at the time.
While speaking to Khel Now, Morgan spoke about how she was supposed to be part of Hunter’s “Terminator” entrance, but it ended up changing.
“My first WrestleMania memory, yeah, I have one, actually. It was actually my first yearin WWE and being invited to WrestleMania, while you were in NXT at that time. And I think it still is, it’s like considered like, you know, like a privilege to be invited to go.
So I was invited to go and I was also supposed to be in Triple H’s entrance. He did like, um… I don’t even know what to call it. You know what I’m talking about when he did that entrance? Like the full metal Terminator thing?
Yeah, so I actually got invited to go be in the entrance, but we never got to rehearse, so it actually never happened. But I don’t know, that just sticks out to me because it was my first WrestleMania, the first memory I have of it.”
It was one year prior at WrestleMania 30 in 2014 when Triple H included Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks & Alexa Bliss in his entrance at a time when they were barely known by the WWE audience.
Triple H Believes Liv Morgan Is A WWE Megastar
In his current role as the WWE Chief Content Officer for the past three years, it could be argued that Triple H has used Liv Morgan better than any woman on the roster, considering how she’s been heavily featured as a babyface and a heel throughout that time.
After the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, Triple H praised Liv Morgan as somebody who continues to impress him.
“Liv Morgan just continues to impress me. A woman that, a year ago, many people would have said, ‘She’s great to have on the roster and she’s a good hand.’ Since May, she’s become a megastar and continues to surpass that, to me.
She stood out tonight as a star in the spotlight and thriving. Even when she’s in pain, she looks like she is having the greatest time of her life doing it, and the little nuances that she is picking up now, she has earned that spot at the top and earned that spot to be called one of the best women in the ring we have right now. Incredibly proud of her.”
Liv Morgan is currently a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez, which should lead to the two women defending their titles at WrestleMania 41 even though nothing has been announced yet.
