Top WWE Heel Breaks Character To Praise CM Punk

CM Punk is an inspiration to an entire generation of pro-wrestlers, and his influence on the industry will continue to reflect through the young guns he has mentored.

During an episode of WWE Playback, Solo Sikoa broke character to reveal what it meant to be in the same ring as The Best in the World at Survivor Series WarGames 2024. He said that Punk didn’t team with only Roman Reigns, but the entire group.

You know, CM Punk, he didn’t team with Roman, he teamed with The Usos and Sami. We live for times like these, man. Being in there with CM Punk, and obviously with Roman and my brothers and Sami, and especially to do it with the boys, too, man. I mean, our dads wrestled with each other back then, and we’re wrestling with each other. It’s cool. It’s a cool thing.

CM Punk is set for another edition of WarGames

The World Heavyweight Champion is setting foot inside the WarGames steel cage as a part of Roman Reigns’ team. There is significant tension between Reigns and Punk, but they will set aside their differences to take down The Vision.

However, a moment of weakness can have The OTC forget all about the team game and turn on CM Punk. If this does happen, WWE will be able to create a storyline between Reigns and Punk, along with Reigns and Rhodes.
