Top WWE Faction To Be Given Bizarre New Name

Triple H hands on head WWE

A rumoured name change has thrown WWE fans into a spiral.

Ever since Judgment Day formed at WrestleMania 38, the group has been big on evolution. Not in a Ric Flair, Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton kind of way, but in a revolving door of members kind of way.

What started as a partnership between Edge and Damian Priest, quickly involved Rhea Ripley, before Edge was kicked to the curb. He was replaced by Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio later joined the faction. Eventually, JD McDonagh and Carlito also got in the action, and just as the group looked unstoppable, both Ripley and Priest were betrayed at SummerSlam 2024.

On the episode of Raw after the summer spectacular, Balor, Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Liv Morgan were introduced as the “new Judgment Day.”

WWE Planning Bold Changes

Just a week after Finn Balor unveiled the latest iteration of the group, it’s now been revealed that Judgment Day is done. Or at least the name is.

According to a new report from Wrestle Votes, a name change for the faction is looking “likely,” with “Street Trash” — yes, you read that correctly, leading the way.

Plans are in motion to rebrand the ‘new’ Judgment Day. Sources say the group’s essence will stay the same, but a name change is likely. The leading candidate is an out-of-the-box, yet bold idea: ‘Street Trash.’

The rivalry between the former Judgment Day and Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest looks set to continue, with the two former World Champions out for revenge. On August 5th, Ripley was seconds from smashing Morgan through a table before she was saved by Mysterio.
