Top WWE Faction Has Allegedly Imploded

The Bloodline is looking at tough days ahead in WWE.

The faction made great strides under Solo Sikoa’s leadership, but has started showing cracks. Jacob Fatu winning the United States Championship and his growing popularity among the fans are a few reasons.

However, one pivotal moment came at the 2025 Backlash PLE, with the debut of JC Mateo.

During Fatu’s title defense against LA Knight, Mateo aided the champion without prior knowledge, creating distrust between the two wrestlers. Fatu’s wariness was also seen on Friday Night SmackDown.

Actor Freddie Prinze Jr., a long-time WWE fan and former company employee, discussed the possible implosion within The Bloodline on his podcast, Wrestling with Freddie.

The Bloodline or the New Bloodline, as it should be known, is imploding, imploding. It’s imploded. The moment Fatu took the mic the first time, it was over; the power had shifted, the fans spoke. He’s just too friggin’ big and can do backflips off the top and do it, like, eight times in a match and cannot get hurt ‘cos he’s a beast.

Prinze Jr. also commended the performances of JC and Solo while giving Fatu the center stage because he is clearly the fan favorite. He also made bold predictions about the US Champion’s future in WWE.

Jacob Fatu’s gonna friggin’ headling WrestleMania one day, and it’s gonna be insane.

He also wished for Fatu to have an injury-free run so that he could become a bigger star.

Jacob Fatu Added To WWE Money In The Bank Qualifying Match

The Bloodline ended their wrestling arc on a positive note, getting the best of Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix.

In the closing moments of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis caught up to the trio backstage and announced that Fatu would be added to the MITB qualifying match next week.

Sikoa, who has already qualified for Money in the Bank, appeared uncomfortable but put on a brave face. Fatu, with a big grin on his face, said, “I love you, Solo,” before leaving.
