One major TNA star could be looking to their future elsewhere as their current deal ends in a matter of weeks.

Throughout 2025, TNA has been involved in a partnership with WWE that has seen the promotion exchange talent with the NXT brand. That has seen several NXT stars hold TNA gold, leading to an uprising that culminated in NXT Showdown as the two brands went to war.

On a four-match show, TNA and NXT came away with two wins apiece as they shared victories in elimination tag team matches while The Hardys captured the NXT Tag Team Championship from DarkState. That show also saw Ethan Page retain his NXT North American Championship against Mustafa Ali. That match was Ali’s first in WWE in two years following his release from the company.

Mustafa Ali Moving On From TNA?

Fightful Select has now reported that several TNA contracts are ending at the end of 2025, and one of those is Mustafa Ali’s. Ali is currently the leader of Order 4 in the company and is a former X Division Champion.

The report notes that Ali is currently keeping his options open so he could be departing the company when his deal is up. Interestingly, it was also said that Ali was “welcomed back” to NXT when he appeared there, and current NXT boss Shawn Michaels is said to be a big advocate of his.
