Top TNA Star To Sign With WWE In 2025
A top TNA star is heading to WWE.
Back in July, it was reported that Jordynne Grace’s contract would expire in January 2025. Interestingly, this is significantly earlier than originally planned as her current deal was set to run until the summer of the same year.
Given her regular appearances with NXT throughout the year, this has sparked speculation Grace will sign with WWE when she becomes a free agent.
Interestingly, it seems creative has been laid out for Grace’s final TNA matches before she departs.
Report Lays Out Jordynne Grace’s Path To WWE
In the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed Tessa Blanchard’s CMLL status and what comes next.
Meltzer confirmed that Blanchard has now left CMLL to sign with TNA. However, alongside the news, comments about TNA star Jordyne Grace also caught the eye.
The belief is Tessa Blanchard has signed here which explains her not being in CMLL the last few weeks. Those CMLL tag belts are cursed, if that’s the word. Stephanie Vaquer & Zeuxis were champs and Vaquer left without dropping them.
Then Blanchard & Lluvia won the tournament for the belts and Blanchard is leaving. That’s apparently why Lluvia said in an interview this week when asked about her best partner, she said Jarochita, even though she was tag team champion with Blanchard.
Meltzer added that Blanchard will make her return to TNA shortly for a quick rivalry with Jordynne Grace. When her contract expires, Grace will then sign with WWE.
The belief is that she’ll debut in Atlanta, do a quick program with Jordynne Grace, with Grace then leaving for WWE when her current contract expires. At least that’s the talking point going around. But I was told Blanchard having signed is confirmed.
Grace will become the latest big-name star to leave TNA following reports that Mike Bailey will sign with AEW, before debuting with the company in early 2025.
With regard to Blanchard, she previously worked for TNA between 2018 and 2020 before being fired. She later spent time with Women of Wrestling but again left following a fall-out.
In early 2020, Tessa Blanchard was the subject of several allegations of bullying and racism, which included claims she spat at a black wrestler, before calling her a racial slur.
Blanchard denied the allegations.
