A major TNA star is injured.

The April 3 edition of TNA Impact kicked off with World Champion Joe Hendry making his way to the ring. The star then watched from the commentary table as Frankie Kazarian beat Elijah, with the victor taunting Hendry and slapping his headset onto the floor along the way.

With the match over, Hendry jumped the ring like a man possessed, and a wild brawl ensued with security and Elijah doing their best to restore the peace.

Following a commercial break, Hendry was shown getting treatment from a medic, and the doctor later announced he’d suffered a “grade three severe sprain on his rotator cuff.”

Ethan Page Chasing TNA Gold

Before the show was over, there was another surprising twist to come.

In the main event segment, Kazarian returned to the ring to gloat over Hendry’s injury, claiming he wished he’d have put him out of action sooner. He added that he was there to call his shot like a man, and planned to take the World Championship from Hendry at Rebellion.

However, he was interrupted by NXT star Ethan Page, who said he’d also got his eye on the title. As things heated up, Santino Marella announced it would be a Triple Threat Match between Hendry, Kazarian, and Page at Rebellion.
