The main event of WWE SmackDown tonight provided a trip down memory lane for most fans as they were treated to a traditional 5v5 Survivor Series Elimination Match, the first one since 2021.

The match saw the MFT, led by Solo Sikoa, take on Sami Zayn and his team of wrestlers. He had recruited Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the Motor City Machine Guns to put an end to the MFTs running wild on WWE SmackDown.

It was an evenly matched affair till the first two eliminations, but things changed thereafter. Sami was the only one left from his team and had to take out three of the remaining MFTs. He took out two of them but fell short against Solo Sikoa, who earned the win for himself and became the latest sole survivor in the promotion’s history.

Solo was celebrating in the middle of the ring after a hard-fought victory, but his moment under the spot light was, quite literally, taken away almost instantly as the arena went dark.

Uncle Howdy returned on WWE SmackDown

The MFTs had been feuding with the Wyatt Sicks for a few weeks before they completely disappeared for the last few weeks. After the lights came back on, Solo was face-to-face with four of the Wyatt Sicks members, who were on the apron.

However, Uncle Howdy wasn’t amongst the ones on the apron, and he appeared behind Solo. He attacked the leader of the MFT with a Sister Abigail in the middle of the ring, signifying that their feud is far from over.

The Wyatt Sicks still hold the WWE Tag Team Championships, and a match for the titles against the MFTs seems to be an eventuality at this point. It would be an interesting match up to see both these teams up against each other.
