Top Dolla Reassures Fans After SmackDown Dive Went Wrong

Hit Row star Top Dolla has provided an update following an attempted dive over the top rope that went wrong.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Hit Row’s Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis faced off with The Viking Raiders and Legado Del Fantasma in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.

The match was action-packed with bodies flying everywhere. Near the end of the bout, Top Dolla attempted to leap over the top rope onto the wrestlers outside the ring. Unfortunately, he lost his footing and spun over the rope, landing hard on the apron.

Following the show, the star took to Twitter to explain that one of his legs gave out as he made the jump, but fortunately, he escaped unharmed.

“S/o God one of my legs gave out on the jump but I’m good thankfully. Already been checked out.”

Responding to criticism and jokes about the attempted dive, Top Dolla shared footage from several years ago when he successfully performed the move despite being 50lbs heavier than now.

“I was 50 lbs heavier in this video than I am now. My leg gave out on live TV and some of y’all jokes are actually very funny but calling me a liar is super weird. It could’ve been way worse so I’m blessed. Y’all don’t care doe “

Despite that move going wrong, Hit Row was able to regroup and later won the bout when they took Joaquin Wilde down with a kick/suplex Heavy Hitter combo for the pinfall win.

The victory means that Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis will now face The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on the December 23rd edition of SmackDown.
