Top AEW Star Close To Return Following Injury

A big-name AEW star will be back in action soon.

On July 13, Jay White and The Gunns were stripped of the World Trios Titles due to an injury suffered by the former NJPW star. The trio had tried to get Juice Robinson to stand in for White, but the move was blocked by Christopher Daniels. White hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Hangman Adam Page in the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Cup.

Although there was a great deal of speculation around the legitimacy of the injury to White, it was later confirmed to be genuine.

However, it’s now been reported by Fightful Select that White is “healthy,” and there are plans for him to return to AEW television “soon.”

Eddie Kingston Still A Long Way From AEW Comeback

Although there’s good news for Jay White, Eddie Kingston has confirmed he’s a long way from getting back in the ring.

In an appearance on Collision, Kingston attempted to fire up Bryan Danielson ahead of his match with Swerve Strickland at All In. During the short video, the Mad King admitted it will be a long time before he gets back in the ring, but he’s determined to put in the work.

Kingston hasn’t wrestled since breaking his leg and suffering a torn ACL and meniscus in a match against Gabe Kidd in May.
