Tony Khan Bringing Yet Another AEW Tournament To TV
There was a new champion crowned at AEW Revolution but there’s no time to rest for them as a tournament has been announced to find a new number one contender.
Revolution saw Kenny Omega dethrone Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship as he finally got the best of The Don Callis Family’s crown jewel.
But now it seems eight men have Omega in their sights with an AEW International Title match already announced for Dynasty on April 6 in Philadelphia. A tournament has been announced beginning on the March 12 edition of Dynamite with four single matches taking place between that show and the following Collision.

The four winners will then clash in a four-way match on the March 19 edition of Dynamite with the winner of that bout then getting the title shot against Kenny Omega.
The tournament was announced by Tony Khan on social media with the four first round matches also confirmed. Former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy will face Hechicero while a wildcard entry takes on The Beast Mortos on Dynamite. Collision will see Katsuyori Shibata go up against Ricochet and Mark Briscoe tackle Mark Davis.
