Tony Khan Must Be Upset By Jon Moxley’s Claims Says AEW Star
Dustin Rhodes believes Tony Khan is upset about recent AEW claims made by Jon Moxley.
After returning with a new, even more violent mindset, Jon Moxley made the bold claim that AEW was now his company. Since then, the World Champion and his Death Riders – Claudio Castanoli, Marina Shafir, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta – have been running rampant through the promotion, aiming to shut down any dissent about their “new paradigm.”
One star who is wary of Moxley’s group is Dustin Rhodes. During an appearance on Sports Guys Talk Wrestling, the ROH Six-Man and Tag Team Champion said he thinks Tony Khan will be a “little bit upset” over Moxley claiming some kind of ownership of All Elite Wrestling.
“You have to have eyes in the back of your head at all times. Mox and his group, they’re tough. They’re fighters and that’s what they do and have done for a living.
“I don’t know what Mox’s deal is, but this isn’t his company. We all work here, and I’ve been here since the beginning. Tony (Khan) knows that and Tony knows it is his company. I would imagine Tony is a little bit upset that he’s calling it ‘his company.’
“You always have to have eyes in the back of your head and ready for anything because they can attack anybody at any time, whether you agree with them or not. They are there in numbers. Numbers are what gets people down.”
Jon Moxley Planning To Seize Control Of TBS
Going further than his claims over AEW, Jon Moxley has promised to “seize the SuperStation” during Dynamite in Bridgeport. It remains unclear how the star plans to take control of TBS, but there will be few who will stand in his and the Death Riders’ way.
