Tony Khan Has “Tried To Limit” ROH Focus On AEW TV

AEW President Tony Khan has responded to “amusing” claims that he features his Ring of Honor promotion too heavily on AEW television.

Khan announced his purchase of Ring of Honor back in the spring of 2022 and since then ROH talent and championships have been featured on AEW Dynamite and Rampage.

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Tony Khan says more recently he has tried to limit the ROH focus on AEW shows to current ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and says Jericho can be on any wrestling show he wishes:

“One thing I have tried to do…I think we only have three hours of AEW TV a week so I have tried to limit the Ring of Honor focus on Dynamite to mostly the Ring of Jericho and Chris Jericho, the ROH World Champion.”

“[…]I saw somebody saying they thought there was too much Ring of Honor on Dynamite and I thought that was amusing because there’s almost been no Ring of Honor on Dynamite in recent weeks, other than Chris Jericho and frankly, Chris Jericho should be on any wrestling show in the world he wants to be on.”

The next Ring of Honor event will be Final Battle on the 10th of December, 2022. The full card for that event can be found below –

  • Chris Jericho (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli – ROH World Championship
