Tony Khan has broken his silence on the ongoing backstage situation in AEW and will address the status of two AEW championships on Dynamite in Buffalo.
Chaos ensued after CM Punk unleashed verbal volleys at everyone from Colt Cabana to Hangman Adam Page to The Young Bucks at the post-All Out press conference. Things spiralled from there with reports suggesting The Bucks and Kenny Omega got into a physical altercation with CM Punk and his friend and AEW producer, Ace Steel.
As a consequence of the fight, several stars as well as backstage producers including Punk, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega have all been suspended by the company. This means that the current AEW World Champion and newly crowned AEW Trios Champions are all out of action for the foreseeable future.
Issuing his first public comment on social media since All Out, Tony Khan has announced that he will address the situation surrounding both those titles on Dynamite:
“Thank you everyone who watches @AEWonTV! Tonight LIVE on @TBSNetwork on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite I’ll address the @AEW World Championship + @AEW World Trios Championship! Please join us on TBS tonight on #AEW Dynamite for a great wrestling show live @ 8pm ET/7pm CT TONIGHT!”

The situation regarding the AEW World Championship held by CM Punk will reportedly have to be changed after the champion apparently suffered another injury in the main event of All Out against Jon Moxley.
