AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently announced the return of former AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia to AEW Dynamite. The Red Death is set to appear on the August 27, 2025, episode, facing off against Jon Moxley, who injured Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door, in a much-anticipated singles match. This announcement marks Garcia’s return to the Wednesday Night show after a brief hiatus.

When Did Daniel Garcia Last Appear on AEW Dynamite?

Daniel Garcia last appeared on AEW Dynamite special edition Grand Slam Mexico on June 18, 2025, participating in a 14-person tag team match. The match took place at Arena Mexico in Mexico City, where Garcia teamed with stars including Adam Cole, Bandido, Brody King, and CMLL talents Atlantis, Atlantis Jr., and Templario.

They faced Dax Harwood, Volador Jr., and The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Lance Archer), ultimately securing the victory.
