Tony Khan Seemingly Reacts To Vince McMahon-WWE News With Social Media Remarks

Tony Khan

Tony Khan has made some interesting comments that are likely a reaction to the news of Vince McMahon returning to WWE.

It seems like everybody has an opinion on Vince McMahon returning to WWE and attempting to sell the company ahead of the company’s TV rights expiring in October 2024, which would mean a sale could happen at some point this year in 2023.

One of the people that has reacted to Vince McMahon’s WWE comeback is AEW Owner/President/General Manager Tony Khan, who owns the wrestling company that is the closest thing to competition that WWE has seen in over 20 years since WCW died in 2001.

Part of Tony Khan’s message on Twitter said this about people that work for him being nice to him:

“Everyone at work is being so nice to me these past 24 hours! I wonder why… It must be belated holiday spirit.”

Tony Khan went on to promote AEW Rampage, which airs tonight on TNT. Tony also reacted to an edited photo of himself with a comment asking: “How did you get a photo of me from last night?”

That’s likely a joke about how Vince McMahon has returned to WWE while making a reference to some people that work for AEW who probably wouldn’t want to work for WWE now that Vince McMahon is back considering how many wrestlers Vince fired in the last few years.

Tony Khan’s AEW promotion has a live edition of Rampage tonight on TNT at 10pm ET followed immediately by Battle of Belts V.
