Tony Khan Questioned Over Britt Baker Controversy

Tony Khan was asked about Britt Baker.

At AEW All In, Britt Baker will challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship. However, the run-up to the match has been anything but smooth.

On August 2nd it was reported there was recently a backstage altercation involving the star, Alicia Atout, and MJF. Baker was fined and suspended following the incident where it’s claimed she was venting her frustration about MJF.

It was later reported that Baker called Atout — MJF’s partner, a “stupid f*cking b*tch,” and a frustrated MJF punched a wall.

Tony Khan Ducks Question On Britt Baker

During an interview with Brandon Walker of Rasslin, Tony Khan was asked about Baker’s suspension, but it’s fair to say he’s looking to move on.

“I mean, Britt Baker has been on the show just this week. I think Britt Baker is fantastic. So great having Dr. Britt Baker DMD back in AEW. She is facing the CEO at AEW All In…..It’s going to be a fantastic match.

Mercedes vs. Britt is one of those dream matches that I’ve wanted to see for a long time before they worked in the same company. It’s one of those matches you never thought you’d get to see, and it’s happening at Wembley Stadium this Sunday, and it’s going to be a great match.”

In an interview of his own, MJF claimed the incident had been blown out of all proportion. The former World Champion claimed that almost everything had been written on the subject never happened.
