Tony Khan Proud Despite AEW Show Facing Serious Challenges
Tony Khan has acknowledged the issues that plagued Dynamite as AEW’s flagship show had a rare outing on Tuesday night.
AEW Title Tuesday took place in Spokane, Washington with Bryan Danielson teaming with Wheeler Yuta to face Claudio Castagnoli and PAC in the night’s main event. Despite concerns, Yuta might have surprise plans for Danielson the two men worked together to see off the threat of the BCC before Bryan Danielson defends his AEW World Title against Jon Moxley at WrestleDream.
However, it was not all plain sailing for AEW for Dynamite.
The effects of Hurricane Helene and the travel restrictions put in place ahead of Hurricane Milton are wreaking havoc in the southeastern United States.
The travel issues that caused chaos were not the only changes for Dynamite; however, Britt Baker’s illness led to her pulling out of her match with Willow Nightingale on the show. Instead, a four-way match was booked with the winner going on to challenge Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.
