Tony Khan Could Make Late Changes To AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan AEW

Tony Khan is facing a challenging build-up to AEW Dynamite.

On August 7th, AEW Dynamite will come live from the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With All In just weeks away the build to the event is in full swing, and several huge names are due to be in action on Dynamite.

However, Tropical Storm Debby is currently battering the East Coast, causing severe flooding and travel chaos. Ahead of his match with Kyle Fletcher, MJF revealed he was driving more than 10 hours to the venue after his flight was canceled.

In a post on social media, Tony Khan said that everyone advertised for the show would be there, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be changes.

With flight cancellations, several AEW wrestlers are struggling to get to #AEWDynamite tonight!

Thankfully everyone announced for tonight’s show is here or en route!

I’ve held back other announcements anticipating travel mayhem + will change accordingly!

See you on TBS tonight!

Tony Khan Believes AEW Is Entering Crucial Period

Speaking in a recent interview, Tony Khan addressed the ongoing media rights negotiations between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. Khan said this period is the most important in AEW history and he’s confident of making “the most important deal we’ll ever make.”

With the talks ongoing, Khan recently met with WBD boss David Zaslav in Paris during the Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, Tony Khan also accused WWE PR of planting fake stories about AEW and the ins and outs of their potential new media rights deal.
