Tony Khan Is One Of The Greatest People Ever Says WWE Hall Of Famer
Tony Khan has received the highest possible praise from WWE Hall Of Famer, Ric Flair.
The AEW President is a popular figure in the industry, a reputation that is only boosted after further overwhelmingly positive words from the iconic ‘Nature Boy’.
Flair made regular appearances for the company in late 2023 and early 2024 as his long-time friend and occasional rival, Sting, embarked upon a memorable farewell tour that ended at Revolution on 3rd March 2024.
The event emanated from the Greensboro Coliseum, the very same venue that Sting and Flair so famously battled for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Clash Of The Champions I in March 1988.
Ric Flair’s appearance at AEW Revolution proved to be his last for the time being, however he remains on good terms with the company and Khan, in particular.
Speaking during a recent appearance on ‘The Five Star Podcast‘, the outspoken legend waxed lyrical about Khan, praising his genuine nature:
“We’re very close. He’s one of the greatest, not just a great promoter, he’s one of the greatest people, human beings I’ve ever met.
Very caring, genuine guy. Got more money than God. (I don’t have) Tony Khan money. I bought time on a jet, Tony has a jet. Probably several!”
Tony Khan Decision Questioned By WWE Legend
Whilst Tony Khan’s personality has received wide praise in the industry, another WWE Hall Of Famer has questioned the 42 year-old’s decision making.
Former WWE Champion and current NXT commentator, Booker T, specifically questioned Khan’s decision to air footage of a behind the scenes fracas between CM Punk and Jack Perry from August 2023.
