Tony Khan AEW

There is a new name on the AEW roster and one WWE Hall of Famer has admitted Tony Khan’s done very well with his latest acquisition.

On the March 29 edition of Collision, Kevin Knight made his AEW debut with an impressive showing against Jay White. Although Knight was ultimately defeated, it was announced after the match that he’s officially signed with AEW. Knight had previously wrestled a dark match at a Dynamite taping on March 12.

The star had been a free agent after leaving NJPW in early January and he was immediately in high demand. Knight was reportedly keen to weigh up his options, which also included WWE. After a tryout at the WWE Performance Center, Kevin Knight turned down WWE to sign with AEW instead.

WWE Hall Of Famer Impressed By Tony Khan’s Newest Signing

Now former AEW star and WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has given his thoughts on Knights’ move on social media and thinks Tony Khan has done very well to snap up the star:

Congratulations Tony you got a good one!

Mark Henry recently signed a new deal with WWE bringing him officially back into the fold with the company following his stint in AEW. Henry has recently been performing around the UK at parties following WWE events in the country.

Kevin Knight is the latest get for Tony Khan after Mina Shirakawa confirmed she was leaving Stardom to join AEW.
