Tony Khan feels that the Tag Team Championship match may steal the show at All In.

With each team having one victory over the other, over 80,000 people in Wembley Stadium and thousands more watching at home will find out who is the greatest tag team in professional wrestling.

The Young Bucks would win their match first, defeating FTR at Full Gear 2020. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler got their win back on an episode of Dynamite in April 2022, setting up the inevitable match to complete the trilogy.

Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Khan praised the previous tag encounters both The Young Bucks and FTR have had, and not just with each other:

“It’s gonna be, without a doubt, the highest stakes in all of tag team wrestling,[on] the biggest stage of all pro wrestling, and the biggest match in all of tag team wrestling imaginable,” Khan exclaimed. “FTR, the AEW World Tag Team Champions, vs. The Young Bucks — the rubber match … it’s going to be unbelievable. Both of these teams have been involved in some of the greatest tag team matches we’ve ever seen, including with each other. The series is tied 1-1. Both matches were amazing.”

Tony Khan Confirms Status Of Tag Team Match

The Tag Team Championship match was up in the air following the news that FTR member Cash Wheeler had been arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm on August 18th. If convicted, Wheeler would be off of the card and force Khan to change the line-up again. On a media call prior to the pay-per-view, Khan confirmed that providing nothing changes regarding the arrest, the match would still be going ahead.

Khan has also hyped up the main event that will see Adam Cole challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship. The CEO of the promotion has declared that it will be the most important match in company history.
