Tony Khan Explains Why He Has So Much Respect For MJF

Tony Khan AEW

MJF has impressed Tony Khan.

At All Out, MJF lost a stunningly violent Tacs and Tables Match against long-time rival Mark Briscoe. Incredibly, the loss came less than 24 hours after he went to war with Mistico at CMLL’s Aniversario supershow at Arena Mexico.

Unfortunately for MJF, he also lost to Mistico, but regardless of the results, according to Tony Khan, he’s only cemented himself as a true wrestling superstar.

In a new interview with The Sportster, Khan praised MJF for his performances.

“I think MJF is a huge star. He’s a huge part of AEW. He’s a great wrestler. I have a lot of respect for what he did to have two amazing matches in two different countries.

Incredibly, to go from Mexico, be in Arena Mexico in Mexico City, and then to go to Toronto, and in less than 24 hours to have two amazing matches, wrestling Mistico for the CMLL World title and then wrestling Mark Briscoe in this Tables n’ Tacks match at AEW All Out. It’s amazing.”
