Tony Khan has big plans for AEW.

On August 14th it was reported that All Elite Wrestling could be heading to Australia in 2025.

The report suggested that AEW was looking at potential venues in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane but details remained scarce. Although the company has been quiet on the rumours since they went public, Tony Khan has now revealed plans for an event in Australia are underway.

During the pre-AEW All In media call, Khan confirmed the company is looking at “various locations” in Australia for an event in 2025.

“We can confirm that we’re currently looking at various locations in Australia to run an event sometime next year in 2025 potentially. We’ll have more information about this in the near future. 2025 is going to be a milestone year,”

2025 is set to be a huge year for AEW with All In moving from Wembley Stadium to Texas for the first time ever.

Tony Khan Signs Former WWE Star [Spoiler]

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that former WWE Superstar Ricochet has signed a “multi-year agreement” with AEW. Furthermore, the star is expected to make his debut at All In at Wembley Stadium according to those close to the situation.

Ricochet had been a free agent since letting his WWE contract expire on July 1st.

Despite the move, his partner Samantha Irvin remains with WWE.
