Tony Khan Brings Popular Match Back At AEW All In Texas

Tony Khan AEW All In Texas

Tony Khan is making every effort to fill Globe Life Field to capacity on July 12.

All In: Texas, AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view, will be hosted in Arlington, Texas, and until July 23, it had only three matches on the card.

While they are great matches, AEW needed something else that was eye-catching and popular among fans.

This is when President Tony Khan announced a couple of matches that have been cherished by the audiences in the past.

On June 24, he took to X to reveal a popular match type with an even meaningful reward.

The All In event in Texas will now feature not just one but two Casino Gauntlet Matches.

One match will contain male talents, and the other will have female wrestlers.

The participants have yet to be announced. Winners of the gauntlet match will earn a future title shot within their respective group.

The format of the match features two wrestlers starting out, with new wrestlers being added at regular intervals. The match ends as soon as a wrestler scores the first pinfall.

The last Casino Gauntlet Match took place on the January 15 episode of AEW Dynamite. Toni Storm was the winner.

Tony Khan Unperturbed By WBD Split

Recently, reports emerged that Warner Bros Discovery would be splitting its various properties, including broadcasting, into two distinct publicly traded companies.

Concerns arose due to AEW’s close ties with WBD. However, Tony Khan remained unperturbed and optimistic about his company’s future.

He also claimed he had a great working relationship with both sides of WBD.

The two of them and Bruce Campbell really negotiated (their most recent contract) with AEW and myself and my team. So, on both sides, we’ve got the great relationships and both sides that really love AEW and have come to be great partners with AEW.

The new changes will be implemented in mid-2026.
