Tony Khan Wants To Bring Back Absent AEW Star

A missing AEW star could have a way back to television according to Tony Khan.

Ricky Starks hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Big Bill to take on Top Flight on the March 30th edition of Collision. At the time there were rumours Starks had suffered an injury, but he’s repeatedly denied that this is the case.

Despite insisting he’s fit enough to wrestle, there’s no word on when the star will be back. Speaking in a recent interview Ricky Starks expressed frustration with his situation, admitting he has “no clue” when he’ll be called upon again.

The former Tag Team Champion added that any return is out of his control, and all he can do is try to work as hard as possible.

Tony Khan Wants Ricky Starks To Return

As the situation rumbles on, Tony Khan has claimed “love” to have Starks back involved. During an interview with SHAK Wrestling, Khan said he has a huge respect for the star and wants him involved going forward.

“I think Ricky Starks is tremendous,” Khan said. “I’d love to get him involved and back in AEW anytime. He’s been a huge part of what we’ve done here for about four out of the five years, and tons of respect for Rico.”

While being enthusiastic about Starks, Khan gave nothing away about when he might return to action.
