Tony Khan Breaks Silence On AEW Backstage Brawls

Toni Storm AEW

AEW and Tony Khan are no strangers to a backstage brawl and now the boss has got a birdseye view of another one as all hell broke loose after Dynamite.

Whether it was CM Punk fighting The Young Bucks after All Out 2022, CM Punk fighting Jack Perry at All In 2023, or Britt Baker being suspended following a confrontation with MJF – AEW has seen more than its fair share of backstage turmoil over the years.

Now following Dynamite in Winston-Salem, all hell has broken loose backstage again but this time it looks to all be part of the show.

Following Jeff Jarrett’s hard-fought loss to Bryan Danielson on the show, he was being interviewed by Renee Paquette before he was attacked by Hangman Adam Page. Page tried to fight off Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal who were with Jarrett before officials tried to break up the brawl. While that was happening Mariah May and Toni Storm burst into view amid their own brutal fight.

Tony Khan Witnesses AEW Backstage Brawl

Taking to social media, Tony Khan made sure everyone knew that Mariah May and Toni Storm were also involved in the backstage chaos and that he ended up close and personal to that melee:

In addition to Hangman and Jeff, it also involved Owen Hart Foundation Tournament winner @MariahMayx and her former mentor and @wembleystadium opponent AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm. It was right by my chair as we wrapped up #AEWDynamite.

Tony Khan infamously claimed to have feared for his life after CM Punk’s altercation with Jack Perry but he doesn’t seem to have been that concerned this time around.
