Mercedes Mone recently added the CMLL Women’s Title to her vast collection of titles, but she has yet a bigger prize in her sights.

Mone won the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double Or Nothing to claim her shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In Texas. Since then, Mone has been engaged in an increasingly bizarre war with AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm.

Storm laid out Mone with a vicious German suplex after her most recent title win, and the AEW Women’s World Champion got x-rated with a promo directed at The CEO on Collision.

Mercedes Mone Needs More Help From Tony Khan

Speaking on Coach & Bro, former WWE writer Vince Russo was asked if Mercedes Mone has enough hype to carry off her belt collector character successfully and Russo thinks she’s keeping up her end of the deal but she needs Tony Khan and AEW to keep up theirs:
