Tony Khan Names AEW’s 4 Women For International Cup
Tony Khan has revealed which of AEW’s female stars will be in with the chance of winning a new title at Wrestle Dynasty.
Back in June, the creation of Wrestle Dynasty was announced, with AEW co-promoting an event on Japanese soil for the first time. The event will take place 24 hours after Wrestle Kingdom on January 5th, 2025, in the Tokyo Dome and will be promoted by AEW, NJPW, ROH, Stardom, and CMLL.
As the event moves closer, a new International Women’s Cup has been announced featuring stars from AEW, ROH, Stardom, and CMLL. CMLL has already announced who their four potential competitors will be as each promotion puts four women forward with the winners moving to a four-way match at Wrestle Dynasty. The winner of that match will be able to challenge for the title of her choice.
Tony Khan Announces AEW’s 4 Combatants
Now Tony Khan has announced on social media that AEW’s four women will compete in a tournament with the winner moving on to Wrestle Dynasty. Jamie Hayter will face Queen Aminata in one semi-final with Willow Nightingale battling Serena Deeb in the other. The two winners of those matches will clash in the final at Collision Winter Is Coming on December 12th.
