Tony Khan Pulls AEW Star Out Of Continental Classic
AEW has been forced to pull one star out of the Continental Classic with their replacement in the tournament named.
On the November 30th edition of Collision, Juice Robinson lost out to Will Ospreay in his first match of the Continental Classic. Unfortunately for Robinson, that proved to be his last match in the 2024 edition of the tournament as well.
Reports emerged that Juice Robinson left that TV taping on crutches with reports suggesting that he may have broken his foot. That appears to be the case now as Tony Khan has taken to social media to confirm that Robinson has been pulled from the Continental Classic with Komander now taking his place:
Due to injury, Juice Robinson cannot complete the #AEWContinentalClassic.
Aiming to prove that he can hang with the world’s very best, high flying rising star @KomandercrMX will join the field as Gold League first alternate, + the upcoming schedule will be adjusted accordingly.

Komander Faces Stiff AEW Tests
With the assumption that Komander will compete in the rest of the matches Robinson was originally scheduled for then he will face tough challenges against Claudio Castagnoli, Ricochet, Brody King, and Darby Allin in the weeks ahead.
Worlds End on the 28th of December will see the Continental Classic come to its conclusion with both the semi-finals and final of the round-robin tournament taking place on that pay-per-view.
