Tony Khan Promises AEW International Expansion
Tony Khan has big plans for AEW.
Back in April, it was announced that AEW would return to Australia on February 14, 2026, for Grand Slam Sydney. However, on this occasion, the event will be followed by an untelevised House Rules live show 24 hours later.
In addition, the company already has a strong foothold in the UK, having held All In at Wembley twice before holding an episode of Dynamite in Wales and Forbidden Door at the 02 Arena in August 2025.
This was followed by the news that AEW will return to the UK in December. This will include holding the December 13 edition of Collision at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, before heading to Manchester for Dynamite four days later.
Tony Khan Lays Out International Plans
During a new interview with Dean Moses of amNY, Tony Khan explained that these dates are part of a wider international expansion for the company. He noted that he wants to take his promotion around Europe, noting that there are more opportunities outside of North America than ever before.
“We built a lot. It’s been six years of AEW, and again, it feels like we started just yesterday. I’m very interested in taking AEW and visiting more of Europe. I think there are more opportunities there. We’ve had great shows in the UK, particularly with shows in London.
We’ve set records at Wembley Stadium, and we’ve had great events in Cardiff, Wales. And I’m really excited about this year taking AEW to Manchester for the first time. I think there are more opportunities there internationally, for AEW…I think that’s very attractive, just international expansion.”
Meanwhile, it has already been confirmed that All In will return to the UK in 2026 after being held in Texas in 2025.
