Tony Khan Appears On AEW Dynamite During Title Match

Tony Khan normally limits his AEW on-screen appearances to his huge announcements but on Dynamite in Toronto, fans saw him hard at work.

Dynamite in Toronto was a huge show for AEW with two championships on the line during a wild night of action. The night’s main event saw Adam Copeland challenge Christian Cage for the TNT Title in a brutal I Quit match.

Cage’s Patriarchy got involved as expected but their threat was nullified by Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard who came to Copeland’s aid. In the end, Copeland unleashed Spike – his spiked bat – on his old friend to claim victory and the TNT Championship.

Tony Khan Joined By The Young Bucks

That was not the only title change on the show, however, as Kazuchika Okada made a big impression in his first singles match as part of the AEW roster. The Rainmaker challenged Eddie Kingston for the AEW Continental Championship and given the rules for that title, Okada’s partners in The Elite, The Young Bucks, were banned from ringside.

Throughout the match, The Young Bucks could be seen sitting beside Tony Khan who was producing the show from his usual post backstage. The Bucks had reason to celebrate as Okada picked up the win to capture the title bringing an end to the short-lived triple crown of the Continental Title, the ROH World Championship, and the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship.
