The Face of The Revolution ladder match has become a staple of AEW’s March pay-per-view over the last two years but now it will take place on Dynamite with a big debut also set for the bout.

The multi-man ladder match at Revolution originated in 2021 when Scorpio Sky grabbed the brass ring and with it a shot at the TNT Championship. In 2022, it was Wardlow who overcame five other men to win the bout and the accompanying title shot.

Now Tony Khan has confirmed on social media that in a huge change, the Face of The Revolution ladder match will take place on the 1st of March edition of Dynamite – just four days before the pay-per-view in San Francisco, California.

Khan also noted that the match will see a lucha star make their debut for AEW as Komander will be a part of the bout.

Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara, AR Fox, Powerhouse Hobbs, Action Andretti, and Konosuke Takeshita will also be a part of the match to crown a new number one contender for the TNT Championship. Samoa Joe is the current champion and is slated for commentary duties during the ladder match but Joe faces a tough test to keep his title at Revolution as he defends his gold against Wardlow.
