Tony Khan Says A 2025 Return To The UK For AEW Is “On The Table”
Tony Khan wants AEW to have an international flavour.
For the past two years, AEW has held All In at Wembley Stadium, but all that will change in 2025 when the event heads to Texas. This sparked a huge amount of speculation around AEW’s future in the UK, especially as Cardiff recently played host to the first-ever Dynamite and Collision tapings outside of the United States.
However, Tony Khan quickly confirmed that All In would be back in London in 2026, but that still left questions around 2025.
During a pre-All In media call, Khan was asked about this subject by Andrew Baydala of Final Bell Media. While giving little away, the AEW boss said a pay-per-view of TV taping in the UK in 2025 is very much on the table.
“Certainly on the table. Definitely something we would consider. I absolutely love the UK. I’ve spent a lot of my life living in England and specifically London. I love it. It’s great being back here and great traveling in the UK,”
Tony Khan Confirms Australia Plans
During the same media call, Tony Khan confirmed for the first time that AEW is looking to run an event in Australia in 2025.
Khan promised more information in the “near future,” while promising that 2025 would be a “milestone year.”
On August 14th, it was reported that AEW was making plans for a huge stadium show in Australia. The report suggested that AEW was looking at potential venues in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane but details remained scarce.
