Toni Storm Wants To Face Mariah May At Special Event

Toni Storm hits piledriver on Marah may

Toni Storm is eyeing a huge rematch with Mariah May.

After conquering the UK with two editions of All In, there was heavy speculation that AEW was planning to head to Australia in 2025. Both of North America’s biggest promotions have been looking to go international of late with WWE hitting Australia, Scotland, France, and Saudi Arabia before the year is out.

On the pre-show for All In, AEW announced that Grand Slam was heading to the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia on February 15th, 2025.

The stadium is home to the NRL’s Brisbane Broncos and the A-League’s Brisbane Roar, boasting a capacity of 52,500. The stadium attendance record is currently held by Ed Sheeran who filled the venue with 59,185 fans.

Toni Storm Wants Very Special Rematch

At All In, Toni Storm was left battered and without the AEW Women’s Title thanks to Mariah May. The pair had been inseparable for months but that all changed when May won the Owen Hart Cup setting up her shot at the Women’s Title.

Shortly after winning, May put a stunning beatdown on Storm paving the way for their match at Wembley. However, despite Storm’s best efforts, it was May who emerged victorious.

Unsurprisingly, the now-former champion isn’t ready to accept the result and move on.

While appearing on Sportscenter Australia, Storm said she wants her rematch, and she wants it in Brisbane at Grand Slam Australia.

“I hope that’s the case. I hope I get my rematch here against Mariah May. We did this on her turf last time in Wembley in London. I think it’s time to bring it home for me. I think it’s time to get back to Brisbane and beat the ever-loving crap out of her in front of all my family and friends and make my country proud,”

Mariah May will make the first defence on her AEW Women’s Title on the September 4th episode of Dynamite against Nyla Rose. Storm is yet to return to television following her defeat to the British star in London.
