Toni Storm No Longer Timeless In Shock AEW Return

Toni Storm AEW

Toni Storm has finally made her shock return to AEW but it’s not the same Storm that fans last saw losing the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Toni Storm’s descent into madness came when she lost the AEW Women’s World Championship back in August 2023 to Hikaru Shida. Storm became Timeless as she embraced the silent movie era, appearing in black and white and increasingly delusional as the weeks wore on. And the fans absolutely loved it.

Storm recaptured the AEW Women’s World Title at Full Gear 2023 and like any good movie star she formed an entourage with her butler Luther and her biggest fan, Mariah May.

For months May supported Storm in any way she could but a plan was being hatched all along that played out to perfection for the English star. Immediately after The Glamour earned a shot at the AEW Women’s World Title by winning the 2024 Own Hart Foundation Tournament, Mariah May viciously attacked Toni Storm ending their friendship in brutal fashion.

At All In 2024, Mariah May defeated Storm to win the AEW Women’s World Title and the Timeless star had not been seen in the company since. However, Toni Storm had kept busy in matches around the world and despite announcing her retirement, she’s now back in AEW.

Toni Storm Back In The Ring On AEW Rampage

At Dynamite Winter Is Coming, Mariah May defended her title against another betrayed friend in Mina Shirakawa. However, May was confronted by a ghost as Toni Storm made her way into the arena but rather than ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm, Storm had her old music and old gear and seemed to be back to her more lucid self. Storm simply posed as Mariah May looked on in disgust but fans don’t have to wait long to see Storm back in action.

Toni Storm’s return to the ring will air on Rampage Winter Is Coming on December 13th.
