Toni Storm Talks Marriage To Fellow Wrestling Star
Former WWE Superstar Toni Storm has revealed that she used some of her time following her release from the company getting married to a New Japan star.
Toni Storm famously walked out of WWE in late 2021, leaving the company suddenly after flying herself home after a live event. After waiting out her non-compete clause, Storm debuted for AEW where she recently picked up a huge victory over former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD at Road Rager.
Speaking to Renee Paquette on a recent episode of The Sessions, Toni Storm disclosed that she used some of her time off to get married to New Japan Pro Wrestling star, Juice Robinson:
“After I quit WWE I went really quiet for a bit and it was obviously a weird time, so we were just like should we just get married? Things are already kind of strange right now so we should probably just get married so we did. We were gonna have a big wedding then we made a guest list and were like ‘it’s so much work’ let’s just get married.”
“Walking down the aisle to music in a costume is what I do for a living and I do not need my mother and everyone around watching me do that awkward sh*t. […] We did it at like 10 ‘o’clock in the morning and we were like giggling, we were having a great time. You don’t even need to have witnesses in Florida so we went down to the county clerk and we left the marriage license in the car and that was hilarious then we queued up to get married.”
“We were doing our vows next to the filing cabinet and then after that, we just hung out for the day in our house with our dog and just had the best day ever because it was just us, and it’s never just us.”
