How Toni Storm Really Feels About That Pie-Throwing Incident In WWE

Toni Storm

Toni Storm has given her surprising take on the pie-throwing incident that proved to be the beginning of the end of her WWE run.

Toni Storm is a roaring success in All Elite Wrestling as a four-time AEW Women’s World Champion. But perhaps more importantly than that, Storm has found the greatest popularity of her career as she embraced being “Timeless.”

Storm will put her title on the line in a major four-way match at All Out, but 2025 has already seen her successfully defend her gold against the likes of Megan Bayne, Mariah May, Mina Shirakawa, Athena, and Mercedes Mone.

Toni Storm, Charlotte Flair & A Cream Pie

But a long, long time ago, Toni Storm was part of the WWE roster and had a very different run on SmackDown. The most talked-about happening during her time in that company came when Charlotte Flair humiliated the star with a pie to the face.

Toni Storm returned the favour on the following week’s show, but the incident had people talking when Storm asked to leave the company just weeks later and flew herself home from a show.

However, it seems Toni Storm holds no ill will about the moment.

Speaking on the Marking Out podcast, Toni Storm was asked about the cream-pie-filled escapade and noted that it was probably her most exciting moment in WWE:

That was the most exciting thing I ever got to do really, when you think about it. The rest was just random wrestling.
