Tommy Dreamer Names Which TNA Star Is “Everything I Love About Professional Wrestling”
ECW legend and current TNA star Tommy Dreamer offered high praise for Jordynne Grace following her standout appearance at WWE NXT’s ECW tribute show.
The event took place at Philadelphia’s historic 2300 Arena, the original home of ECW, and saw Grace take part in a 10-woman tag team match that highlighted her strength and skill. Teaming up with Kelani Jordan, Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia, Grace faced off against a team led by her NXT rival, Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Tommy Dreamer, appearing on Busted Open After Dark, lauded Grace’s performance, admiring her dominance and resilience.
When you talk about a juggernaut, a powerhouse, I normally think of Jordynne Grace. I thought her comeback was amazing, I thought she represented well, and the fact that in the ECW arena, you’re getting ‘TNA’ chants on an NXT show is next level. She did everything perfect. She is everything that I love about professional wrestling, especially with women’s professional wrestling.
The match ended in victory for Grace’s team, despite a momentary setback when teammate Zaria accidentally speared her. Dreamer appreciated the energy each competitor brought to the match, emphasising that each woman had a moment to shine.
The women busted their a**es, and I’m not showing favouritism; I just loved her comeback.
Dreamer stressed that performances like Grace’s are exactly what’s needed for wrestlers looking to make an impact, especially if they aspire to join WWE’s main roster. Grace’s future in TNA remains uncertain, with rumours swirling after her recent Knockouts Championship loss to Masha Slammovich at Bound for Glory. Both her contract and that of her husband, Jonathan Gresham, are set to expire in early 2025, adding further intrigue to her career trajectory.
