TNA’s Joe Hendry On Verge Of Huge Title Match (SPOILER)

Joe Hendry

He’s been featured heavily on WWE NXT in 2024 and now TNA’s Joe Hendry is set for a huge title match in the coming weeks.

NXT No Mercy saw Ethan Page defend his NXT Championship against TNA star Joe Hendry with former champion Trick Williams acting as the special guest referee.

Ultimately, it was Ethan Page who retained his championship in Denver as he nailed Joe Hendry with an Ego’s Edge with Trick Williams counting the pinfall. After the match, Pete Dunne dragged Williams to the floor and hit him with the Bitter End before staring down the NXT Champion.

Ethan Page will now defend his NXT Title on the October 1st launch show when NXT makes its debut on the CW Network after five years on USA.

But for Joe Hendry, the quest for gold is far from over.

Joe Hendry To Battle For TNA World Title

Following his win over Josh Alexander at TNA Victory Road, there was another big win for the Scottish star at the recent TNA tapings that have yet to air.

PWInsider has reported that Joe Hendry defeated Frankie Kazarian in a number one contender’s match for the TNA World Championship in San Antonio, Texas. Hendry will now go on to challenge Nic Nemeth for that title in the main event of Bound For Glory on October 26th in Detroit, Michigan. As of now, no other matches have yet been made for that show.

In the nineteen-year history of Bound For Glory, the TNA World Championship has changed hands on the show on 12 different occasions. The last time the title changed hands on the show was in 2021 when it had three different title-holders on the one show as Christian Cage lost the belt to Josh Alexander who was then defeated by Moose in 7 seconds in an impromptu match.
