TNA’s Jeff Hardy Continuing To Wrestle While Injured

Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy is currently dealing with an injury.

The TNA star is scheduled to wrestle two matches this week in Texas. He is set to be in action at the Thursday Night Impact on AMC premiere on January 15th.

Then, he and Matt Hardy will defend the TNA Tag Team Titles against The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) at TNA Genesis on January 17.

Ahead of his matches, Jeff Hardy joined the Budget Cut podcast with his brother, where he revealed that he has been injured since they lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) at NXT Halloween Havoc.

He disclosed that he is cleared to wrestle, although the doctors have advised him to stay safe inside the squared circle.

What’s different about me this year, I’ve been dealing with an injury since we dropped the titles at NXT. I actually have two bulging disks on the left side of my neck.

It’s definitely better than it was at first, but we’ve been slower for two months now and that’s a little stress creator for me. I’m cleared. I can go. I just have to be safe. [H/T Fightful]

Jeff Hardy Reveals His Favorite Rival In WWE

During an interview with the Direct Discussions Podcast, Jeff Hardy revealed his favorite rival from his singles career in WWE. According to the TNA star, he had “good chemistry” with Umaga.

“I met (Zilla Fatu) when he was a newborn baby. It was crazy. Now we’ve teamed with him several times, I’ve painted his face several times, and we’ll definitely team with him again and have interaction with him.“

“His dad was probably, in my singles career, my most favorite feud ever. We had such good chemistry and gelled so well together, the big guy vs. the smaller dude. Every time I’m in the ring with Zilla, it just makes me proud I’ve made it this far.”
