TNA’s Chris Bey Recovering From Surgery After Devastating Injury
TNA star Chris Bey suffered a serious neck injury in the ring and now an update on his condition has been given as a GoFundMe has also been launched.
During the latest set of TNA tapings in Detroit, Chris Bey suffered a serious injury and was taken away from the ring on a stretcher wearing a neck brace. At the taping, Bey was teaming with Ace Austin to take on the new TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys.
Fightful Select noted that Bey’s match and the show ended after the injury and Bey was taken to the hospital with a neck injury where he underwent surgery. Bey is recovering, but the full details of his injury are being kept private.
Chris Bey Recovering From Neck Surgery
TNA provided an update on Chris Bey’s condition following his injury and thankfully noted the star is in good spirits despite the seriousness of his condition:
Chris Bey is recovering at the hospital following surgery for the neck injury suffered Sunday night and he had an MRI procedure on Monday. He was resting in his hospital room Monday night, joking, talking about Bound For Glory and in good spirits. Chris will be in Detroit for a few days and family members have joined him, along with TNA Wrestling management and wrestlers who are staying in Detroit.
Chris is under professional care and supervision, and the local medical staff has been in contact with his personal doctor.
TNA also provided an update on Vikingo who suffered a knee injury at the tapings and is now back in Mexico for more treatment:
Vikingo returned to the Detroit hotel Sunday night after being treated at the hospital for a right knee injury. He is on crutches and wearing a leg brace. Vikingo flew home to Mexico on Monday, where he will be examined and treated by his specialist.
