Several TNA Stars Unhappy With Current WWE Control
There’s trouble brewing in the TNA locker room with several stars finally expressing their unhappiness with the company’s WWE partnership.
WWE announced a formal partnership with TNA, with stars from NXT and TNA crossing over onto each other’s shows. Undoubtedly, the highlight of this has been Joe Hendry competing as Randy Orton’s surprise opponent at WrestleMania 41 while Hendry was still TNA World Champion.
Many fans have grown unhappy about WWE’s dominance over TNA, with WWE contracted stars rarely losing in major matches. Jacy Jayne captured the TNA Knockouts Title to become a double champion as she also held the NXT Women’s Title. She lost her TNA crown in a three-way match against Ash By Elegance and Masha Slamovich, where Ash defeated Slamovich to win.
Trick Williams has held the TNA World Title for a considerable amount of time now, but continues to seem more focused on his WWE career. And it seems many TNA stars have had enough.
TNA Stars Threaten To Cross The Line
During NXT Homecoming, many TNA stars took to social media to express their unhappiness with the state of play in terms of the WWE partnership, as trouble is apparently on the horizon.
Mike Santana, the man currently tipped by many to dethrone Williams, threatened that it was time to do something about the perception WWE is in control of TNA:
Also. To keep it real with everyone… I’m pretty sick and tired of all the “WWE/NXT has control over TNA and can do what they want”, bullsh*t. Think it’s about time we put it to rest and do something about… #NXTHomecoming

TNA’s Director of Authority Santino Marella also admitted things are getting too much for him:
This is getting to be too much, honestly, I’m very close to … whatever, I’m just saying it’s getting to be too much #NXT#TNA

Many other stars also expressed their frustration and issued threats, including ex-WWE stars Mustafa Ali and Cedric Alexander.
NXT celebrates its past but disrespects TNA’s future.
Many will talk about it. A few will do something about it.

I came to @ThisIsTNA for new opportunities and to reinvent myself. I refuse to sit around and have @WWENXT talent take those opportunities!
It’s time for a change!!#PRYMEAlexander#TotalNonstopAlexander#NXTHomecoming

Wow @WWENXT really thinks they control @ThisIsTNA ! Don’t forget I still live right around the corner… Maybe it’s time for a different type of homecoming 😉 #NXTHomecoming

Many of us at @ThisIsTNA are former #WWENXT talent….You know I love @_trickwilliams 🫶🏼 but it just doesn’t feel right that he’s the only representation of TNA tonight at Full Sail…

Funny how @WWENXT thinks they can just offer up OUR championship in a title vs title match acting like @ThisIsTNA has no say in the matter
Truth is We’ve let this type of stuff happen for too long
Time for a change #NXTHomecomingTRUST

DO YOU WANNNA KNOW SOMETHING ? I’m DONE with this so-called TrickNa Era in @tnawrestling. He thinks we’re gonna bow down and watch him run our brand? Nah. This ends soon—and when it does, he’ll wish he never crossed the line #TNAiMPACT
