TNA Star Leaves After Requesting Release

One TNA star is done with the company after requesting their release.

Fightful Select has reported that Gisele Shaw has finished up with TNA after requesting her release from the company. That release was granted on the condition that she put over someone at the company’s tapings in Louisville which took place on August 31st.

The report noted that TNA didn’t put up a fight to keep the 35-year-old and made and made the process of granting her release a smooth one. Shaw had spent almost three years with the company and she is booked to be a part of former TNA President Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promotion with some in TNA expecting her to be a regular there.

Shaw was recently part of a ten-woman tag team match at English promotion RevPro’s 12th Anniversary show held on the night before AEW All In.

TNA Continuing To Work With WWE

In recent months, TNA has been working in partnership with WWE as the promotion’s stars have mixed with talent on NXT. TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has issued an open challenge for her title to the NXT roster.

There will also be TNA stars going after NXT gold on the September 10th edition of the show as The Rascalz will face Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
