TNA star Mustafa Ali completed a recent bout despite suffering from a serious jaw injury.

The former TNA X Division Champion took on Mike Santana in a highly anticipated singles bout at TNA Sacrifice in El Paso, Texas on 14th March, picking up a hard fought victory in a bout lasting over thirteen minutes.

Whilst the win itself was impressive, fans would soon learn that Ali had battled through the pain barrier to finish the match.

Following the conclusion of the match, Fightful reported that the 38 year-old former Chicago police officer had dislocated his jaw during the contest, but fought through to the finish after correcting the injury himself in the ring.

Despite the serious nature of the injury, Ali is not currently expected to miss any in-ring time.

TNA Fans Reaction To Hulk Hogan Debut Explained

One star who received a less favourable reaction when debuting for TNA was the legendary Hulk Hogan.

Hogan was heavily booed by fans after arriving in TNA on 4th January 2010 despite being billed as the saviour of the struggling brand.

TNA founder Jeff Jarrett recently noted his feelings that Hogan’s poor reception was down to him representing everything that fans didn’t want TNA to be.
